I'm not a train guy, but I don't think you could have possibly done any better. That build looks exactly like the train behind you. Well done.
I wish I had even a tenth of the happiness for anything that train people get when they there favorite train. Its just so damn wholesome.
My grandfather was a train geek. Was a member of the model train club and everything.
This usually very button up engineer would be click your heels and dance around the room giddy when seeing ANY train. Though, of course he preferred the old steam engines. Which he would talk about for hours if you let him.
Miss that guy.
Even the way the yellow curves down around the front matches. I'd be looking back and forth at the model and the real one all day 😄
The smile on your face tells it all. Iove anyone that gets excited about their hobbies. You do you and enjoy it. Good for you man!
Follow him on YouTube - some great shorts about Baltimore/Maryland history. And you can tell he enjoys it all.
Genuine visible joy.
Nice work!!
Thank you!
Holy beautiful engine.
Yeah, the train is stunning as well.
That yellow is stunning
As is this Lego builder’s smile. 🙂
Indeed. That is a happy man. Reminds me a few years ago I bought myself the Lego creator pirate ship as a birthday gift and my ex’s sister thought I was stoned because I was so ecstatic
The best thing about this picture is how happy you look
So much joy!!! I love it.
He's right behind me isn't he?
Your joy is infectious! That's such a beautiful model being held by a beautiful man in front of a beautiful train! What a delightful moment, thank you for sharing. Hope you have a lovely rest of your week!
As a fan of Lego, trains and Baltimore (even though I've never been, yet), well done.
Pure joy in your face. 🖤
The smile says it all 👌
This is wicked, top work!!!
Wait, you’re the guy known for digging up/fishing up cool old artifacts in Baltimore, right?! Followed you on IG forever
That’s awesome!
So cool! Nicely done
Bro... You're so cool
This is awesome
Great museum. Nice work.
Now travel to Roanoke and do the Norfolk & Western J Class #611.
Awesome job!
So cool! Congrats on your build, hope it brings you as much joy as it looks. Thats the best thing I seen all day!
You look so happy! That's so cool
Congratulations! That must have been epic!
I love that engine design, has so much personality. Great work capturing it.
The joy on your face made my day. Well done.
The shaping on that streamlined nose is spot on. Pulling off those Art Deco curves in Lego without losing the proportions to the real thing is seriously impressive work.
That is spectacular. What a lovely experience.
Yeah! Sick streamlined model!
Nice clean model! Good texture! Well done
This is so cool!! Yay to you man!!
Awesome!
Great work dude 👍
I want to go to there
When youre ready to add the prints/decals, I know a guy 🤙
I’m not a train person, but this one might actually change that. Sweet build, but man that train is super cool.
brings me joy to see other Black folks who enjoy Lego and Trains. Awesome build man
It might also bring you joy (and it brings me a lot of joy and you’re near the top comment so you’re the chosen one I guess) to follow his Instagram, which digs into Baltimore history and archaeology. I’ve got zero connection to Baltimore but I watch every video with enthusiasm.
Thanks for the plug! Love any sort of history deep dive
Look how happy this dude is.
Great job. Glad you had such a good time with it. I'd be proud too.
This is using the internet to the fullest, sharing your passion with the rest of us. This is an amazing build, such a cool opportunity, and it's so clear how much fun this was for ya! Great stuff!!
